What would my room cost?

Typical DCIM pricing: $125 per month minimums and $230–330 per rack per year are typical. Simulation tools for engineers start at several thousand dollars per seat per year and need an engineer; Monitor needs a spreadsheet.

Monitor · 20 racks$100 / month$1,200 per year · Design one-time $490
DC Sim Monitor$1,200 / yr

Questions people ask
How is Monitor counted?

Per rack in the model, billed monthly, minimum $49. Empty racks in a design do not count until the room goes live.

Can I buy online today?

Not yet. Every license starts with a walkthrough on your own file. Self-serve accounts and card checkout are on the roadmap.

What does "3 months per project" mean for Design?

A Design license covers one project for three months of active design; extensions are available if the project runs longer.

Can I switch from Design to Monitor?

Yes. The design becomes the twin of the running room, and Design customers get the first three months of Monitor free.

What happens to my data if I stop?

You can export the model as Excel and ask for deletion; deletion is confirmed within 30 days.

Is the AI design assistant extra?

No. When it ships it is included in the Design license at no extra cost, and Design customers get it first as early access.

Do partners get a discount on Design?

Yes, a partner price per project under the partner agreement, so the twin can be in the proposal before the customer buys.

How does this compare with typical DCIM pricing?

Typical DCIM pricing starts at about $125 per month and runs $230–330 per rack per year. Monitor is $5 per rack per month with a $49 minimum, and Design is one-time per project. DC Sim sits on top of DCIM and monitoring rather than replacing them.
