Moro Hub Solar Data Center

The story

Located in the desert south of Dubai inside the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park, Moro Hub's flagship green data center earned a Guinness World Record upon opening in 2023 as the world's largest 100% solar-powered data center. Commissioned by the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), the 16,000-square-meter facility was built entirely from eco-friendly green concrete. It runs exclusively on renewable solar energy generated by the surrounding 5,000 MW photovoltaic fields.
