The story

Chile is one of the most seismically active countries on Earth. When Ascenty engineered its Santiago 1 facility in the industrial district of Quilicura, it incorporated seismic base-isolation dampers beneath the building foundations, designed to absorb the severe ground motions of a magnitude 9.0 earthquake without interrupting critical compute loads. Serving as a multi-cloud peering hub for the Andean Southern Cone, the facility runs on 100% renewable Chilean green energy.
