Europe's largest campus by land area on a former Alcatel research park in Essonne
The story
Constructed on the historic 110-hectare research campus where French engineers once pioneered fiber optics for Alcatel, DATA4 Marcoussis is the largest data center park by land area in Europe. Located 25 kilometers south of Paris, the campus blends high-density digital infrastructure with 70 hectares of protected forests. With its own 220 kV electrical substation connected to the French RTE grid, Marcoussis provides sovereign cloud hosting for French healthcare, financial, and hyperscale tenants.
